Introduction
Cartario (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Cartario.com services, including web-based AI image tools and mobile applications such as Norwegian 4×4 and VO2 Max – Cooper Test. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use those services.
Information We Collect
Website and account information. When you register for a Cartario web service or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, account information, messages, and information needed to provide support.
Usage and technical information. Our web services may collect information about how they are used, such as browser and device information, IP address, pages or features used, error logs, and cookie identifiers. We use this information to operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot our services.
Mobile apps. Norwegian 4×4 and VO2 Max – Cooper Test do not require an account and do not send your timer settings, workout details, Cooper Test inputs or results, name, email address, health information, contacts, or precise location to Cartario servers. Timer settings, preferences, and any on-device test calculations are processed and stored locally on your device.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and maintain our services; operate accounts; respond to support requests; communicate important service updates; improve security and reliability; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
Advertising, Purchases, and Third Parties
The free versions of Norwegian 4×4 and VO2 Max – Cooper Test may show ads provided by Google Mobile Ads. Google and its partners may process device identifiers and related technical information to serve and measure ads under their own policies.
Optional in-app purchases, including removal of ads, are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store payment card details.
We may use service providers that help operate our website, host services, provide analytics, process payments, or provide advertising. Those providers may process information only as needed to provide their services and according to their own privacy policies.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cartario web services may use cookies and similar technologies to keep services working, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve security. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, but some website functions may not work correctly.
Notifications and Device Features
When you start a workout in Norwegian 4×4 or a test in VO2 Max – Cooper Test, the app may display an ongoing timer notification and play sounds or vibrate at interval changes. These functions run on your device and are not used to transmit personal data to Cartario.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, maintain an active account, respond to support requests, protect our services, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
For Norwegian 4×4 and VO2 Max – Cooper Test, Cartario does not operate a server database that retains personal app data. Timer settings, preferences, and locally processed test information remain on your device until you change them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. If you email support, we retain your email and message only as long as needed to respond to the request and meet applicable legal or business recordkeeping requirements.
Your Choices and Data Deletion
For Cartario web accounts or support correspondence, you may request deletion by emailing support@cartario.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and the email address associated with your request. We will act on the request or explain any legal reason we must retain limited information.
To delete local data from Norwegian 4×4 or VO2 Max – Cooper Test, open Android Settings, choose Apps, select the app, then Storage & cache and Clear storage. You may also uninstall the app. This removes the local timer settings, preferences, and test information stored on the device.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
